Flow reactor technology typically generates compounds in higher yield, purity and selectivity, however purification is generally conducted using standard batch procedures which negate some of the advantages of performing reactions in flow reactors. This paper describes the results of conducting a variety of reactions in flow reactors incorporating immobilized reagents, catalysts, and scavengers which enable the synthesis of pure compounds straight from the reactor, without any need for purification.
