The presented vibratory conveyor is a prototype device for the systematic analysis of the transport properties of granular materials on vibrating surfaces. First results for circular oscillations show granular surface waves in a certain range of frequencies. In the near future, considerable trials measuring the transport and mixing properties of bulk solids by diverse vibration adjustments are intended.
