The finite element method modeling package, FEMALB, can be used as a toolbox for solving ordinary differential algebraic equation systems derived from complex reaction kinetics. The applications are “code‐free”. The accuracy and high efficiency have been demonstrated by the simulation of reaction processes such as glucose/fructose hydrogenation and catalytic cracking of gasoil.
