The Cover Feature represents our studies′ central characters: the nanocubes and the nanowires impregnated with platinum species, oxygen and carbon monoxide as the reagents, and carbon dioxide as the product. Their separation represents that they were used in different reactions, not mixed. In their Full Paper, L. R. Borges et al. proposed the easy preparation of materials containing controllable platinum species depending on the ceria materials′ surface energy. In the paper, the authors used several physicochemical methods to characterize their materials and explain the differences in performance, suggesting a complex combination of factors. It was also shown that Pt clusters and/or single atoms are not always the best options for the preparation of catalysts, depending on the support choice and application. More information can be found in the Full Paper by L. R. Borges et al.
