The Cover Feature shows two production lines in a catalytic lab. In the background, Mn(I) catalysts are prepared with conventional phosphine ligands that can be challenging to synthesise. In their Communication, R. van Putten et al. highlight the use of air‐stable N‐Heterocyclic Carbenes (NHCs) as alternative ligands for Mn(I). Preparation of Mn(I)‐NHC complexes is straightforward and results in a highly active catalytic system for transfer hydrogenation of ketones that rivals catalyst loadings more commonly reserved for noble metals. The convenient practical use is depicted by the calm situation in the corresponding production line in the foreground; the chemists are working steadily while enjoying music in the background. More information can be found in the Communication by R. van Putten et al. on page 5232 in Issue 21, 2019 (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.201900882).
