The Cover Feature shows the selective aerobic oxidation of amines to the corresponding amides over a nanorod manganese oxide (NR‐MnO x ) catalyst. In their Full Paper, H. Wang et al. explain the importance of the manganese oxide nanorods with abundant surface oxygen sites for the successful activation of aromatic, aliphatic α‐methylene C−H bond under mild conditions. The FTIR analysis and kinetic studies reveal that the NR‐MnO x ‐catalyzed amine‐to‐amide reaction proceeds with oxidative dehydrogenation of the amines into nitriles and hydrolysis of nitrile into amides. More information can be found in the Full Paper by H. Wang et al. on page 401 in Issue 1, 2019 (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.201801058).
