The Front Cover shows that the fine chemicals 5‐formyl‐2‐furoic acid (FFCA) and 2,5‐furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) can be separately synthesized in water from 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), a platform chemical derived from cellulose, with the assistance of H 2 O 2 and a ruthenium catalyst with an effective catalytic performance. In their Communication, C.‐T. Chen et al. demonstrate that the reaction system can be operated at atmospheric pressure below 100 °C within a short reaction time.
