A facile and efficient one‐pot, three‐component approach for the synthesis of spirodibenzo[1,4]diazepine derivatives has been achieved by the reaction of isatins, cyclic 1,3‐diketones, and 1,2‐phenylenediamines in the presence of a Zeolite‐Y nanopowder catalyst. The Zeolite‐Y nanopowder catalyst was synthesized and characterized thoroughly by using XRD, high‐resolution transmission electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive spectroscopy, and N 2 ‐adsorption analysis. We used X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy to investigate the electronic environment and oxidation state of the elements.
