The Cover shows that Co doped K‐OMS‐2 can be a highly efficient and water‐tolerant catalyst for CO oxidation, which may have applications in the field of fuel cells, automotive exhaust cleaning and CO removal of cigarette smoke, among many others. In their Communication, J. Yang et al. explain that in Co doped K‐OMS‐2, Co ions successfully substituted Mn centers and were incorporated into the framework of K‐OMS‐2, resulting in an enhanced mobility of active oxygen species and redox capacity of K‐OMS‐2 matrix. The doped element also improved the surface hydrophobicity, making the K‐OMS‐2 structure less sensitive to water vapor, and enabled a remarkable catalytic activity, comparable to that of some noble metal catalysts. This work provides a simple and promising route for the synthesis of a cheap water‐tolerant catalyst for CO removal industrial applications under moisture‐rich conditions.
