The Cover illustrates how the catalytic scope of (cyclopentadienone)iron complexes has been extended for the first time to the hydrogenation of esters. In their Communication, P. Gajewski, A. Gonzalez‐de‐Castro et al. demonstrate that—upon activation by treatment with Me 3 NO—these easy‐to‐make and stable complexes can promote the hydrogenation of a number of trifluoroacetate esters with good yields. Although the substrate scope is limited to these activated substrates, this study represents the first example of ester hydrogenation with an iron complex based on a non‐pincer ligand. More information can be found in the Communication by P. Gajewski, A. Gonzalez‐de‐Castro et al. on page 3431 in Issue 22, 2016 (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.201600972).
