The Cover shows shows the surface of a nano‐bioreactor composed of layered double hydroxides (LDH) in which an artificial metabolism has been confined. The LDHs offer a suitable microenvironment that favors a high loading of enzymes, an increase in their stability and preservation of their activity. In this Communication M. Lemaire et al investigate the design of two biohybrid systems which are proven reusable for the synthesis of phosphorylated sugars. The zoom illustrates the encapsulated multi‐enzymatic cascade combining four different enzymes, allowing an efficient transformation of dihydroxyacetone into D‐fructose‐6‐phosphate in 90% yield. More details can be found in the Communication by M. Lemaire et al. on page 3110 in Issue 19, 2015 (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.201500606).
