Ligands at the wheel: The pivotal role of ligands for the palladium‐catalyzed functionalization of remote C sp 3 H bonds has been demonstrated. The presence of the ligand enhances the reactivity of the inert C sp 3 H bond and controls the selectivity of the process. DG=Directing group, FG=functional group.
