All green in one medium: FeSO 4 ⋅ 7 H 2 O in combination with pyridine‐2‐carboxylic acid and H 2 O 2 in methanol can efficiently catalyze the formation of arylaldehyde dimethyl acetals from the corresponding styrene derivatives.
