I can afford to be picky: Liquid alkanes can be easily generated by the selective hydrogenolysis of sorbitol over the catalyst Ni/HZSM‐5. An appropriate amount of added MCM‐41 can distinctly modify the structural properties of HZSM‐5 and, subsequently, influence the catalytic performance of the catalyst.
