It′s a mummers catalyst: Upon the addition of cupric oxide nanoparticles to the peroxidase substrate TMB in the presence of H 2 O 2 , a blue color product can be formed with a maximum absorbance at λ =652 nm, indicating that cupric oxide nanoparticles have peroxidase‐like catalytic activity.
