An aniline exclusive : The introduction of copper to a Ru/MgF 2 catalyst results in the strong inhibition of the side reaction of hydrodechlorination during the hydrogenation of ortho ‐chloronitrobenzene and allows ortho ‐chloroaniline to be produced at 100 % selectivity.
