SO it goes: A straightforward method for the deoxygenation of sulfoxides based on iron catalysts is presented. Excellent performance is demonstrated by a system composed of [Fe 2 (CO) 9 ] as catalyst and polymethylhydrosiloxane (PMHS) or PhSiH 3 as reducing reagent under non‐inert conditions. The outstanding applicability of this procedure is shown in the reduction of various substrates with excellent yields and good functional‐group tolerance.
