Walking on eggshells: A facile and controlled route is presented to prepare Pd catalyst with an eggshell structure by CO reduction deposition of PdCl 2 on a SiO 2 –Al 2 O 3 support in ethanol aqueous solution at room temperature. The as‐prepared eggshell Pd catalyst exhibits a higher activity than the uniform one.
