Key Clinical Message A family cluster of father, mother, and daughter with Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) infection was diagnosed during last epidemic in Italy. In temperate area, during the summer season, clinicians should consider CHIKV infection in the differential diagnosis of patients with fever, maculopapular rash, polyarthralgia, and conjunctival erythema.
