Key Clinical Message Primary cutaneous mucormycosis due to Saksenaea vasiformis is a rare clinical manifestation and the actual number of the disease condition is underestimated due to lack of sporulation in the absence of molecular diagnosis. Combination therapy of antifungal and repetitive debridement is mandatory in curing the patients.
