Key Points Despite advances in technology, patients with end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) continue to have shockingly high 5‐year major adverse cardiac events (83%) and mortality (77.9%) rates. This study identifies independent variables that could assist in prospective risk modeling in patients with ESKD undergoing PCI. Clinical impact: The prospective risk modeling is another tool in the therapeutic armamentarium of the heart‐kidney team to utilize in making complex and difficult decisions pertaining to coronary revascularization in ESKD.
