Key Points Covered stents are used in a plethora of clinical scenarios. However, available sizes of approved covered stents are limited, especially for pediatric patients. This ex vivo study attempted to find the limits of expansion of small‐diameter covered stents used for peripheral vascular intervention. The authors suggest that the studied stents can probably be dilated safely well beyond their labeled diameters, with some variability among stent models. Studies such as this one are welcome, as they provide reassurance to vascular interventionalists and help us find solutions for our patients.
