Key Points Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) technique has now been approved across all surgical risk profiles of severe aortic stenosis. Vascular complications at the large bore puncture site remain a major problem of TAVR. A higher sheath to femoral artery ratio (SFAR) and multiple vessel entries are independent risk factors of access‐related vascular complications.
