Key Points This study demonstrated an increasing rate in complete heart block (CHB) and permanent pacemaker (PPM) after trans‐catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). The development of CHB was associated with increased in‐hospital mortality, prolonged length of stay and augmented hospitalization cost. Pre‐existing RBBB was the strongest independent risk factor for subsequent development of CHB after TAVR.
