KEY POINTS Hemophilia is a rare genetic disorder that inherently results in bleeding risks that can be successfully managed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Standard of care options such as drug‐coated stents should not be denied hemophiliacs solely on the basis of their genetic defect. Successful care of hemophilia requires a close collaboration with a specialist in these bleeding disorders to optimize care.
