Key Points Occlusion of large patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) with elevated pulmonary pressures can be considered in patients with left‐to‐right shunting and low resistance as evidenced by LV enlargement on echocardiography. High technical and procedural success was achieved without incurring major complications: embolization, hemolysis, residual shunt, or adjacent pulmonary or aortic impingement. The Occlutech ® PDA occluder may be well suited for treating large PDA given its shape, flexibility, and available large sizes. Its enlarged pulmonary end and aortic retention skirt may allow increased stability with less oversizing in patients with elevated pulmonary pressures.
