Key Points Stent thrombosis is a rare PCI complication that occurs in approximately 1% of cases after successful PCI. In about 50% of cases ST occur after 30 days, and in 15% after 1 year. Lesion complexity and baseline presence of thrombus are angiographic predictors for ST and can potentially guide antithrombotic therapy. Further studies are needed to demonstrate whether these predictors can be used to individualize intensity and duration of DAPT.
