Key Points A drug‐coated balloon (DCB) in the setting of a STEMI may have long‐term advantages that overshadow the risk of not stenting the vessel. Conversely, a temporary or permanent scaffold may be critical in the setting of a STEMI. The rationale for the trial is bold, sound, and the human subjects are well‐protected.
