Key Points Time‐to‐hemostasis is not prolonged by un‐interrupted warfarin prior to diagnostic catheterization or coronary intervention using radial access, compared to no warfarin, with background anti‐platelet therapy of aspirin ± a thienopyridine. This provides additional reassurance that a strategy of uninterrupted warfarin prior to coronary procedures using radial access is safe. A strategy of interrupted warfarin prior to coronary procedures (with or without bridging therapy) has not been adequately tested.
