Abstract Transcatheter valve therapy is becoming an established treatment for aortic stenosis (AS) and it is very promising for mitral regurgitation (MR). There are no formal reports of percutaneous treatment of both AS and MR in the same patient. Here, we report on the first human cases of successful totally percutaneous management of combined severe AS and MR as a planned staged approach and using MitraClip ® implantation as a procedure necessitated by an unpredictable complication of self‐expanding CoreValve device, respectively. © 2011 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
