We report a remarkable case of right atrial rupture, 3 years after transcatheter closure of a secundum atrial septal defect, and 7 months after permanent transvenous two‐chamber pacemaker implantation. The etiology of the rupture remains unclear, but the presence of the two intracardiac devices is probably not coincidental. © 2008 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
