We describe the case of a 64‐year‐old woman who experienced a left renal sub‐capsular hematoma following complex percutaneous coronary intervention. The hemorrhage was arrested by balloon inflation followed by coil embolization. Final thrombosis around the coil was achieved by an infusion of a small amount of thrombin. © 2007 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
