Symptomatic basilar artery stenosis can be treated with stents. However, it still has limitations such as technical difficulty and restenosis. We describe a 61‐year‐old man with episodic vertigo and significant basilar artery stenosis, who was successfully treated with drug‐eluting stent. At 6 month follow‐up, cerebral angiography revealed patent basilar artery. Catheter Cardiovasc Interv 2005;64:296–300. © 2005 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
