We report on a 17‐year‐old patient with a residual ventricular septal defect and a significant pressure gradient across the pulmonary homograft after Rastelli‐type operation. Device closure of the defect was associated with a considerable reduction of right ventricular hypertension and of the pressure gradient across the right ventricle‐to‐pulmonary artery conduit.
