A technique for transcatheter “reconstruction” of a completely occluded left pulmonary artery using radiofrequency perforation with subsequent balloon dilation and stent implantation is reported in a 7‐year‐old child. It is shown that transcatheter radiofrequency perforation can still be effective years after the occlusion of a vessel. Cathet Cardiovasc Intervent 2001;53:81–84. © 2001 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
