Abstract Patients with intractable angina pectoris due to end‐stage coronary artery disease who are not amenable to conventional revascularization provide a therapeutic challenge. We describe the first published case of a young patient with intractable coronary artery disease that was successfully treated by endocardial cryotherapy.
