An aorta‐to‐right atrial fistula developed within 3 months after closure of an atrial septal defect using the Amplatzer septal occluder. Surgical correction was required. The cause of this complication appears to be erosion into the aorta by the right atrial disk. Cathet Cardiovasc Intervent 2003;58:246–251. © 2003 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
