Exploring differences between instructional practices of full‐time and part‐time faculty, this chapter reveals that the average time spent by part‐ and full‐time faculty in most classroom instructional practices is essentially equivalent. However, differences emerge regarding time spent in various classroom practices, the availability of faculty to students outside class, and faculty connections with colleagues and the institution.
