Secondary school juniors and seniors no longer should find it convenient to “blow off the senior year” or part of the junior year as well. Dual‐credit programs, carried out largely by community and technical colleges, have opened the door to thousands of secondary school honor students and vocationally oriented students who need to stay challenged as they complete high school.
