The 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) released in August shows that there is a treatment gap for mental health, particularly for co‐occurring mental and substance use disorders. Among other findings, the report, which has been conducted for four decades for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, found that perception of risk from weekly marijuana use keeps going down as regular use keeps going up, among young people in particular.
