The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is concerned about the most recent Monitoring the Future (MTF) survey of eighth, 10th, and 12th graders nationwide, because of huge increases in vaping. Almost one‐third of students in 12th grade used some kind of vaping device in the past year, according to the survey results, which were released in December 2017.
