An Oct. 11 New York Times Magazine article points to a significant increase in anxiety in our youth, and identifies social media as a contributor. The article cites author Jean Twenge, who, in the September 2017 issue of The Atlantic , reported on social media use in the generation she terms the iGen — children born between 1995 and 2012. Her findings are striking.
