Headache is one of the most common complaints of children and adolescents. Although annoying and inconvenient, most headache pain resolves with rest, hydration, or aspirin. For some, however, headache pain can persist and even become intractable, meaning that it is difficult to treat or fails to respond to standard headache treatments.
