Researchers conducted a literature search to determine which antipsychotics were best for early‐onset schizophrenia. They found that efficacy was similar for aripiprazole, paliperidone, risperidone, quetiapine, olanzapine, and molindone, but inferior for ziprasidone and unclear for asenapine. However, adverse reaction profiles varied substantially, and were consistent with findings in adults.
