Last month, The Marshall Project, a not‐for‐profit journalism enterprise, wrote about some major changes in juvenile justice under consideration in California. The state asked previously incarcerated children and their families to recommend changes in juvenile detention in the state. The survey conducted by the California Board of State and Community Corrections is going to inform changes in juvenile justice facilities in the state.
