It's no secret that marijuana legalization policies — both medical marijuana and recreational — have taken place with little to no research into the health effects of this drug. Last month, the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NAS) issued a report which called for more research into marijuana, or cannabis, as the plant is called.
