The cover feature picture shows an antibody crossing a lipid membrane on its way to the cytosol. As the delivery of active substances into the cytosol faces several barriers, quantification of their delivery with spatiotemporal resolution is of fundamental importance for chemical biology. More information on the strategies that can be used to confirm cytosolic delivery of macromolecules and to determine their subcellular localisation can be found in the minireview by J. Montenegro et al. on page 488 in Issue 4, 2019 (DOI: 10.1002/cbic.201800390). Image by Eugenio Vázquez.
