The front cover picture shows a novel fluorogenic probe targeting biogenic carbonyls under physiological conditions, yielding a carbonyl‐specific optical fingerprint in the form of an excitation–emission matrix. A data reduction and pattern matching algorithm enabled the identification of biogenic aldehydes in complex mixtures based on these optical fingerprints, thereby laying the groundwork for the specific identification of biogenic aldehydes as diagnostic biomarkers of disease.
