The cover feature picture shows the product diversity of a recently developed enzymatic approach towards nitriles based on the use of aldoxime dehydratases, which catalyse the dehydration of aldoximes as readily available substrates. This biocatalytic methodology represents an alternative, cyanide‐free route towards the product class of nitriles, which are widely used in the chemical industry. The enzyme properties and the substrate scope of this enzymatic transformation, which covers aliphatic, aromatic and arylaliphatic aldoximes as well as aldoxime substrates bearing a stereogenic center, are described in the Minireview by Y. Asano, H. Gröger et al. on page 768 in Issue 8, 2018 (DOI: 10.1002/cbic.201700571).
