The cover feature picture shows the reaction catalyzed by 2‐haloacrylate hydratase. This flavin‐dependent enzyme utilizes the reduced form of the flavin to catalyze a dehalogenation/hydration reaction via a covalent flavin intermediate. In our paper, we characterize this intermediate and propose a mechanism of action for this new member of the noncanonical flavoenzyme family. More information can be found in the communication by J.
